Partner, Eversheds Sutherland

Nils is a Partner in the Munich office of Eversheds Sutherland. His practice focuses on data protection, cybersecurity and IT law and comprises both in contentious and non-contentious aspects.

His non-contentious work includes national and multi-jurisdictional data protection projects (product/services compliance, data transfers, big data), outsourcing projects, and drafting/advising on all kinds of contracts relating to the creation and exploitation of IT (including software development, software licensing, software distribution, collaboration agreements). His contentious practice includes data protection litigation with a focus on data subject access request proceedings, as well as procedures with the data protection authority, and IT litigation with a focus on unsuccessful IT implementation projects.

Jolina Pettersson is a Threat Intelligence Advisor with Truesec’s Threat Intelligence Team. She has over a decade of experience working in the cybersecurity industry, acquiring skills from various roles – from fast-paced technical roles as an incident responder and security operations engineer to more sound roles as a strategic advisor, team leader, and project manager. Jolina is an expert at monitoring, analyzing, and identifying threat actors and uncovering new cybercriminal tactics – essential insights when determining reliable and up-to-date defense capabilities.

Mats Hultgren

Director of Operations Incident Response, Truesec

As Director of Operations for Truesec's incident response team, Mats has aided many organizations through the greatest crisis they have ever face. He is also a renowned expert within the capabilities of Protect, Detect and Respond. His vast experience from managing the incidents handled by Truesec's CSIRT makes him one of Europe's foremost experts in incident response.  Mats is especially appreciated for his ability to interpret and explain complex problems and solutions in a way that makes sense for everyone.

Dr. David Rieks works as a Partner and Head of Corporate Crime and Investigation at Eversheds Sutherland. He would share his experiences and insights as compliance lawyer and defence counsel who advises and represents national and international companies or management with respect to criminal law related risks in the context of cyber-attacks. He will cover, in particular, risk in correspondence with cyber fraud cases and ransomware attacks and will discuss best practises for communication with the state investigation authorities.

Johannes Link is a consultant at the Cyber Alliance Center of the Bavarian State Office for the Protection of the Constitution. He advises on business protection and counter-intelligence issues and supports Bavarian institutions in defending against and resolving electronic intelligence attacks.
